Swati Abhay Patwardhan belongs to family with rich heritage of Indian Classical Music, she took her lessons in Indian Classical Vocal Music from Mr. Prabhudesai and scholarly Mrs. Sudha D Patwardhan, Former President of Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Miraj-Dr Sangeeta Bapat, Mrs. Asha Joshi.

Swati Patwardhan has profound and rich experience of more than 24 years as a Teacher, Trainer, Examiner of Indian Classical Vocal and Light Music.  Since 1998 – Shri Shrikant M. Ranade, Mrs. Shivali Parekar and Mrs. Swati Patwardhan seeded concept of teaching Light Vocal Music under banner of Shree Samarth Sharada Sugam Sangeet Sanstha for aspirants in the Society with zest to learn music for the self-entertainment.

Further to her relentless hard work and with exquisite and most scholarly guidance from Shri. Shrikant Ranade, started different structured Certificate Courses in Light Vocal & Instrumental (Harmonium).  Contributed exclusively in the process of drafting syllabus for Courses in Sugam Vocal and Harmonium ( Geet Prathama to Geet Alankar )
